Phil Haley & His Comments are a great rock n roll tribute act and the perfect choice for the first Kelham Hall Vintage festival.
The band not only pays tribute to the great Bill Haley they also cover other classic 50's rock n roll tracks. The band have performed together for over 20 years and have taken their show all over the UK and Europe.
Leeds City Stompers are flying the flag of 1920's and 30s Blues, Jazz, Swing and Ragtime. With their mixture of traditional tunes and originals they have played most major blues and jazz festivals. With their beloved 1930s drum kits, shiny resonator, guitars, tweed suits, washboards, double basses, banjos and brogues they bring to life distant music forms that have informed all the pop, rock, bop and soul music that came after.
The Swing Commanders have appeared, often headlining at most of the UK's top Vintage and Country Music festivals. They are loved by fans of Jazz, Country, Swing and Blues, and find it easy to fill dance halls with lindy hoppers, modern jivers, line partner and social dancers. They play all over the UK, and regularly tour Europe.
Join Sarah Mai and the Rhythm Riots for an evening of Rhythm and Blues performing some of the biggest names in history including Etta James, Ruth Brown. Sarah and her band has performed at Ronnie Scotts, Twinwood Festival and many other vintage events.
The daytime for the Saturday will be performed by the mesmerising vocal talents of Miss Lily Lovejoy, Miss Rosy Rivets and Ashlea Lauren. These wonderful singer will cover music from the period including jazz, forties and rock and roll.
The Sunday entertainment will be performed by the excellent Johnny Victory, Sarah Mai and Charlotte Porter.
